MAYC is the youth section of the Methodist Church and is now known as MAYC - Supporting Youth Work in the Methodist Church. Formally, it was referred to as the Methodist Association of Youth Clubs when the main focus of the work centred around youth clubs. However, the shorter name reflects the wider role and work, which includes youth work development, training, campaigns, music and sports. 

MAYC’s logo represents a cross and a plus sign showing the positive effects of being part of MAYC while conveying the central focus of Christ in the work and ministry.  Furthermore, we have chosen the colour red to indicate that we belong to the whole Methodist Church.
