Pop Songs to Worship God - Great Harwood
On Saturday 11 October 58 young people gathered at Great Harwood Methodist Church in Lancashire for a day of Inspiration. The day was designed to inspire the young people to use creative arts in worship and was led by Rachel Saunders, Music and Creative Arts Youth Development Worker from MAYC with a team of experts in the field including ‘Heaven Sent’ and members of the worship band ‘b4u’.
Some Comments from an Inspiration Day
It was a brilliant day and for the 2 young people I brought, their first experience of anything to do with MAYC and definitely a very positive one.’ ‘Just a note to say thanks for the day -all our teenagers had a fabulous day especially with ‘Heaven Sent’ - they want to start their own dance group from their weekly cellgroup members and perform at our next family service !! Watch out!’ ‘I think we were INSPIRED on your INSPIRATION DAY - don't you?’
