The Community and Youth Workers' Union (CYWU) Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) and other unions meet annually with local governments and voluntary organisations to agree national minimum salaries, terms and conditions for professionally qualified youth workers.

If your Church/project employs JNC qualified Youth Workers MAYC recommends that you pay staff JNC rates. Like wise if you are looking to employ a professionally qualified youth worker we recommend that you recruit someone that holds a JNC recognised qualification.
