The following is a list of youth and community training courses currently available. This is not an exhaustive list but will hopefully provide you with a starting point.

At the bottom of this page you can download a matrix grid that has been written specifically for volunteers interested in undertaking some training.  The grid will provide you with information on training options, the time required, cost, accredited and who to contact.

Part time: Youth and community
Local Education Authority: Check out your local Education Authority as it may offer introductory youth and community work courses. These are often free of charge.

Spectrum: Spectrum is a course that was developed ecumenically and aims to provide basic training for those working with young people in the Church. If you are interested in Spectrum contact your District Training and Development Officer.

The YMCA George Williams, St. Martins and Westhill colleges all offer part time or distance learning courses, for contact details continue down this page and you will find them listed under fulltime youth and community.
