Face to Faith: Praying and acting for good relations between people of different faiths. A month of prayer and action took place in February 2007. One of the suggested prayers used is shown below:

God, creator of this world, one yet divided,
Forgive us that we allow divisions
Between ourselves and people of other faiths
And so add to instability in the world.
Teach us that it is the responsibility of us all
To reach out with the hands of friendship
And build safer communities.
Help us, God of all, to work for peace.
Amen

The aim in February was for Methodists to:

• Pray for better relationships between people of different faiths
• Do something to encourage inter faith understanding in their locality
• Youth groups were invited to enter a photo competition on inter faith relations - the deadline for which is May 31.

A month of prayer for inter faith relations was proposed by the 2005 Methodist Youth Conference and endorsed by the Methodist Conference of 2006.
