* * * Val runs Marathon at the finishing line Valiant Val

We all say well done to Val Lovett for completing the 2007 London Marathon. It was her first time at the grueling 26 mile race and she completed it in just over 7 hours. Supported by the many well wishers lining the course; she crossed the finishing line with a smile still on her face.

I survived and completed the course in a very sedate 7hrs 31mins 59secs - just within the 3hrs 32. A massive thank-you to all who donated before during and even after the event. To date the amount raised is nearly £1200. Donations are still being accepted and I would dearly love to achieve my target of £2000
