What about ITV Local?
ITV Local which launched in March 2007, provides channels for community-made videos in a number of regions including London and the Home counties.
Mediabox will show completed films and programmes to ITV Local, which will consider them for broadcast. Potential film and programme makers will be encouraged by organisations such as The Prince’s Trust and Youth Clubs to submit bids for funding to Mediabox.
A Mediabox spokeswoman said that a large number of programmes and films would be made with a view to potentially being broadcast. She added that Mediabox would be announcing other partnerships with broadcasters and publishing companies in due course.
