On 4 May 2007, 18 year old William Lloyd was duly elected as Britain's youngest councillor. In between studying for his A Levels and allowing his mother to wash his clothes, William will be making some pretty important decisions which will effect the way in which everyday folk in Brentwood, Essex run their lives.
William Lloyd took the opportunity to realise his political ambitions when the minimum age for candidates was lowered from 21 to 18 years old. The young Tory defeated the sitting Lib Dem member and is looking forward to the taking his seat in chambers.
