MAYC seeks to support Methodist Youth Work through:

  • Coordinating the Fulltime Youth Workers Association
  • Providing and developing resouces and training for paid and voluntary youth workers
  • Offering advice to Churches looking to employ a Youth Worker
  • Coordinate the Fulltime Youth Workers Conference
  • Organising and supporting local and national programmes for and with young people

The Full time Youth Workers Association aims to support and provide a resource network primarily for fulltime Youh Workers within the Methodist Church. However, it hopes to be of use to any Youth Workers paid/unpaid, fulltime or part time. The Association also aims to raise the profile of youth work with Church and Society and will encourage the sharing of good practice and policy development at all levels.
