Participation was a headlinder at this year's Youth Conference in Wales. This follows on from the interest shown in the topic at this year's main Conference in July, where decisions were taken about the work with young people and the commitment to them. * More About This Story 		Methodist Youth Conference
The Methodist Youth Conference exists to provide an opportunity within the Methodist Church for young people to: Inform individuals and bodies of young people's views; comment on policy and practice of the Methodist Church; consider and express its conclusions on such matters of interest or importance to the Methodist Church as it may choose, especially social issues; discuss especially, although not exclusively, these issues as they affect young people.

The Methodist Youth Executive {MYE} exists to actively represent the young people of the Methodist Church. As an inclusive body, which is rooted in God's love, it seeks to keep the Church relevant to the youth of the 21st century. It aims to challenge and motivate the Church to listen and respect the voice of Youth Conference, whilst also showing a mutual respect for the traditions of the Church.”

Blackpool played host to July's Methodist Conference. Understandably, Team Focus, the plan for the future workings of the Connexional Team took centre stage in the proceedings.
